Great job Pointers! OVC Champs and still undefeated!!

Chesapeake played hard tonight and battled back in the 3rd quarter to get within a couple points, but as osmufan said, they just couldn't get over that hump.

And as it usually is when SP travels Chesapeake, it was a packed house.

I bet you there were more SP fans there then Chesapeake fans. Great South Point crowd showed up and supported the guys.

UNDEFEATED...how exciting for them. Congrats South Point!!!

They came out with tons of energy at first, a little too much maybe and seemed to be too jumpy. But they really settled down and played together so well. Mayo lead the scoring, but everyone contributed and played their hearts out.

Mayo is so fun to watch....loved the dunk!

OVC Champs....Great Job guys...this school year holds OVC titles now in football, girls basketball, boys basketball..........anything else?

Congrats to SP...........Chesapeake has had a very successful season in the beginning no one thought that they would even be a threat. Shoemaker scored 29 points. Way to go Tyler!!! Ross played his heart out on defense and the others played very hard also. Chessy has come a long way. Good luck against FHS.

Great game! Peake had their chances and just couldn't execute. Nothing to hang your heads about, Panthers. You guys kept battling and showed a lot of heart!! Let's finish strong and win the next two games and get ready for the tournament!!!
