I have found that I need to turn off my pop-up blocker to get this up on my screen.

Mercy - I lost track of time, and was late getting the radio on.
Fortunately, the games are also running late - JV game still in progress; Varsity game still a way to go until tip-off time.

IT'S SENIOR NIGHT AT IRONTON - CONGRATS AND THANKS TO THE SENIOR IRONTON FIGHTING TIGERS - THERE WILL BE A RECOGNITION CEREMONY FOR THEM BEFORE THE VARSITY GAME.
At 7:45 - It's probably at least another 20-30 minutes to the start of the Varsity game. Portsmouth will be without the services of Anthony Williams, who is suspended for this game.

Also, the Fairland Lady Dragons won over Portsmouth West in the Girls tourney game and will meet the Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers on Sat., 2/9, at 2:45 PM at Rock Hill High School.
That game will be broadcast/webcast on WIRO. GO LADY FIGHTING TIGERS

Well I have to say the best play of the game was made by my brother Brian Zornes at half-time. He didn't just make the shot from the foul line but the shot from the 3-pt. line and then he swished it from half-court for some nice green of $500. Now Brian make sure you share some of that money with the Educator since she came down to give you a big hug and congratulate you!! I was so excited for you, I just want you to know :-D

Now for the Tigers they just couldn't play defense tonight at all

Keep your heads up boys and be getting ready for Tourney time coming up. It was nice to get to see Trojan Dave get to cheer his Trojans on though:-)

Great game by the Trojans. They wanted it more and they came to play.

Sure will miss the seniors but we still have the tourney. So keep your heads up.

Awesome shot by Tyler Jenkins...way to go...

Oh and yes my hubby hit all 3 shots at halftime. Wonder has that been done before? I mean hitting all 3 shots? So I am sure I will have a great Valentine's Day :lol:

just kidding that money will more than likely be spent on something golf.

I did not feel good about the Trojans winning this game......missing 2 starters, and with the Tigers playing well as of late.........

I told Tigertownturkey, Rhiannon, and Butcherman108 before the game that we wouldn't win.........and I'M GLAD I WAS WRONG!!

WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE!! OUR TROJANS PROBABLY PLAYED THEIR BEST GAME OF THE YEAR!! The 13 game winning streak by the Fighting Tigers over the Trojans is over........THANK GOD!!

MAJOR PROPS TO COREY ALLISON AND ZACK LINK!! THESE KIDS STEPPED UP BIG TIME!!

Forrest Johnson had a monster game for Portsmouth as well, and Andrew Bendolph was steady at the point.

Portsmouth improves to 9-10 on the season, and with a win on the Day of Champions could post their most wins since 2002.

Very nice gesture on the part of the Ironton basketball team to let the team manager play......and I cheered when he hit the shot.

And Brian making those shots........I think he was hotter than the temperature in the gym!! Congratulations!!

Not so fast.....I had a verbal agreement with the owner of the number 23 program holder.
The agreement was a 50-50 split,now I think my half (250.00) is my half,what he does with the rest is up to him/you.
