Southern vs. Miller
This is the final home game, Senior night for the Tornadoes.... Seniors in their last home games are Ryan Chapman, Kreig Kleski, Trenton Roseberry and Brett Beagle...
I look for Southern to come out ready to play....
Any thoughts?
My Prediction....
Southern 59
Miller 53

I want to wish Trenton,Ryan,Brett and Kreig a great game on senior night.
I have watched Trenton,Ryan and Brett play every year since 4th grade and Kreig has played every year since his family moved here. These boys have been very loyal to Southern basketball and I wish them all the best on the last game they will play on Southern's floor. Let's go out with a big win!

miller would have 2 more wins if Jay Kline werent coaching nelsonville - york. they would have 5 or 6 more wins if Jay Kline were coaching them instead.
Southern wouldn't be so up and down with Jay Kline.
both of these schools should offer huge chunks of $ to bring in Jay Kline. They either are or could be basketball schools. he would like to be the spotlight because that is what he deserved. Southern would win tvc hocking championships with Jay Kline. So would Miller.
Jay Kline is currently coaching a NY team with a good spot up shooter and a bunch of young guys from a horrible jv team from last year. he went 7-13 with basically a bad awful jv team. i mean geez bra

JKFan,
Obviously your posts are a little biased, so I don't expect you to change your mind with this post. However, I can't sit here and listen to you call for Southern to axe their coach, knowing he is probably one of the hardest working coaches in southern Ohio, and he is a proven winner (he averaged 1 conference title every three years at Beaver Eastern). I'm sure Jay appreciates you campaigning for him, but I think Jeff Caldwell is just as, and probably more capable of winning at Southern.
In response to your 'up and down' comment. This is Jeff's first year at Southern, and with any new coach, players have to learn a new system. There is always an adjustment period. By the way, if I remember correctly, this Southern team wasn't exactly a powerhouse last year either. I think most Southern fans would agree that there has been a vast improvement in this team. Also, Southern doesn't have a major inside presence and therefore has to rely on their shooting more than most teams. And, as anyone with basketball knowledge knows, shooting can come and go at any time, especially at the high school level.
