Triplett's a great coach. Had Pendleton not got hurt two years ago, West would have gone 10-0 and deep into the playoffs.

West is gonna have a heck of a year.

Going into this year I would've predicted 8-2 to 9-1, with maybe a playoff appearance. After watching them workout I think we may be looking at a playoff run. Really look good.

That would not surprise me one bit thats the kind of kids we have, their dedication in the offseason is second to no one.

I just want everyone at Portsmouth West to know that there has been a Chilli poster that has been disparaging the Chilli vs. West matchup this fall and this person does not represent most Chilli fans and the coaching staff.. I assure you Coach Hinton and his staff understand fully that West is a tough quality opponent and will not be looking at it as an easy win for the budding program. I believe that it will be a evenly matched contest pairing, yes a bigger school against a smaller school in one aspect, but a much better football program against one that is trying to build itself into a winner. I saw a few West posters try to reason with this poster and become frustrated. Mind you, this poster is not a jerk, is not attempting to be malicious, or truthfully not attempting to disrespect the West football program, he is just expressing his frustrations with the state of Chilli's football program. I am looking forward to a great football game! Good luck the rest of the year!

Easy there chief! Someone needs to understand when a compliment is being given an learn to be a little more humble and gracious! You may be right sider, but i have also seen mant-a-March statement like that come back to haunt teams in the fall. Again, good luck to the West faithful this year!
