Eastern vs. Symmes Valley

If the Vikings play like the last few regular season games, there will be some disappointed Eagles. If they don't, there will be some disappointed Vikings.

Im not saying Eastern will win, but It's not impossible. They've dont it before. This will be a hard fought game by the Eagles, thats for sure. There is an old phrase at Eastern, "Rise and Shine, It's Tournament Time." Coach will have them ready. He knows what he's doing. It's all up to the players on how most of them will play in their first tournament game at the Varsity level. Good Luck To The Eagles Tonight!

it is not hard to pick Symmes Valley when they bounced back from the eagles loss and won their conference. Eastern has to play focused basketball and connect on the perimeter if they want to compete in this game. I have a feeling their defense will be slightly motivated from the sideline! :lol:

55-53 final score and the Eastern Eagles move on to the Districts. SV had the game tied up with just a few seconds left and could have went into OT. They fouled Jake Lynch on the inbounds pass and put him on the line and he made both shots. :oops:

IMO, neither team played great..and since I've watched Eastern more this year--I say they played TERRIBLE. And The one player who walked off the court for SV before shaking hands and punched the locker room door really was quite ridiculous....this reaction by the player was not true sportsmanship--the better team won the game, he should be able to at least shake hands for a hard fought game.

Other than that, a GREAT game to watch...and I'm pretty sure if the game is on the line, I'd take SOPHOMORE jake lynch over any other player in the tvc hocking.

Froma a Southern perspective, it was so cool for the Eastern players and make a tunnel for Southern.

Classy. Of course Southern fans were cheering for Eastern, and visa versa.

The boys played hard tonight, I feel they did not play their best game but we all like the big "W". and we all love going to the convo.
