Get out of our way - -we are moving on - -your season is about to end. This is a message board - let fans be fans. Thanks for playing. Love Grandma.
You really look like a basketball expert now....You are very fortunate to move on, and I hope that you know that.
It is a shame that adults need to get on a message board and say things like this person did. Support your kids, and be respectful. Not much of a contest, huh? You win by one point. Good luck to your kids as you move on.

Boy, does your assessment exhibit an infinite amount of basketball knowledge. Guess you ought to be in the locker room screaming at your players for playing so badly. You need to be on the bench in the second chair, based on your in-depth analysis of your team in this game.........

Only to the [very poor] extent that radio reception allowed - and interrupted by my granddaughter calling x2 to complain at me on other subjects!

Federal Hocking has a good team. They had a very good season and were only a shot away from advancing. Good kids and very well coached.
The Lancers scored 27 first half points and 26 of those were on point blank layups after beating the Panther pressure. Kudos to the Lancers for some great interior passing. In the second half FH scored another 18 points off layups. The Panthers shot the ball well enough in the first and third quarters to advance.
A couple weeks ago Chesapeake was leading Scott WV by 11 with 6 minutes to go and went into a prevent offense that prevented them from scoring in a game they lost. Tonight the Panthers were up by 8 and had the ball to start the fourth quarter. They went into the prevent offense again and did not score for about 4 minutes. Someone smarter than I (probably about anyone who can read this) needs to explain to me why teams get a decent lead and then stop doing what they were doing to get the lead.

First I would like to say LANCERS....you had a great year!! No one can take that away from you. Seniors...you will ALL be missed next year. Good luck to you in which ever direction your life takes you.
Second. As a fan I find it SAD that a so called grandparent would get on a public forum and act worse than a child. You are not setting a very good example for your grandchildren and I would bet they would probably be embarrassed by your childish acts. Remember this team that went down by one point are teenagers. They deserve the same respect that your team does. I feel sorry for you. You must be a truely miserable human being. This game could very easily went the other way......
GREAT YEAR LANCERS!!! You are a CLASS act!!!

WOW, what a great perimeter shooting team the "peake" is. By far the best we saw all year. A very solid basketball team and best of luck at the district.
To the seniors who've played their last game at FH - Gentlemen, it's been a pleasure to watch and the best of luck in future endeavours.
To coach Vales and Chadwell, I sincerely believe I speak for the fans of Federal Hocking when I say "great job" and we're all crossing our fingers that you stick around to develop this next bunch.

First of all congratsto both teams on a great game. FH plays very hard, and they have a lot to be proud of. This game is all about servive and advance, and that's what the Panthers did.
Analysis, wow they shot 65% from the field in the first half because they had wide open lay up after lay up. This was an extremly physical game, which personally I think in the tounry it should be. I was very proud of how physical the Panthers played. I thought ball pressure would hurt the Lancrs, but they ate it up. How many times did the Williams kid pass away and do a basic basket cut and get wide open layups? Chesapeake did penetrate and kick at will, and I was impressed with the way Chesapeake shot the ball. Both teams battled and battled regaurdless of the score, this one could have went either way. Fed Hock did turn it over a lot more than Chesapeake, but that was because CHS was taking the first shot they saw at one time. Great job by two seniors, Shoemaker and Ross, making key shots and free throws when it counts. Lastly, I would really like to see Chesapeake get back to playing defense like they are known for. CHS gets beat off the dribble a lot, and they lose their man a lot. Offensively, nothing to say but let the three's keep raining down!!!!!
Mawmaw, that is pathetic, you didn't go to the game, nor listen to it on the radio, and you call yourself a supporter of the program. hahaha

I as a fan of Lancer athletics am very proud of this team. Tonight's game was between two very evenly matched teams and it showed. I don't have stats from the game but FH did handle the defensive pressure very well and beat defenders off the dribble often. Most of the turnovers were unforced. I think FH had more boards than CHS. I think the Lancers played well and from what I know about Chesapeake, I think they played well. Chesapeake shot the 3 very well and that may have been the difference in the game.
Great season for the Lancers and good luck to Chesapeake.
