I believe it was:

Fairland 67

Alexander 60

And Ty Webb, I agree with you. Blaine has done a great job with the talent that he has, someone has an ax to grind.............

absolutely no ax, just stating facts in my humble opinion. i am entitled just as you are. we can agree to disagree, and i believe that there was good talent this year. not selling the boys short just wish they could have a more successful program.

Any thought on Fairland and North Adams?

That's fair.

Congrats to the Spartans on a solid tourney run and best of luck to them in their 2008-2009 hoops campaign. There'll be much more parity in the TVC Ohio next season and Coach Gabriel and the Spartans will be in the midst of the whole thing, trust me. ;-)

Blaine Gabriel is one of the best coaches in the TVC. Ask the people that know. Ask any of the other coaches and they will tell you the same thing.

And no I'm not brainwashed, nor do I have and axe to grind...

Nice effort by the Spartans tonight. Fairland is a quality team (#3 seed) with a ton of athletes. They are big, strong and fast. Alex put a scare in them and the game was closer than the final score. Spartan fans should be proud of how hard their kids played. Good Luck to Alex next year.

Very good game to watch. Alex had the lead but Frost picked up his third and fourth foul early second half, they were having trouble gaurding him. Lamb was the difference, if he wasnt on Alex wins the ball game but he was on fire. #20 for Fairland was a little much for me to watch too long. :?

The dragons win and advance on to the Convo we go! :-D 24 for Alexander is a good player and I thought they were well prepared. The refs on the other hand were not.  To the ref that threw me out you finally got me. Fergi were even now. Michael you were right they did suck. IMO we need to play better and smarter from here on out or our season will end before it should. We are going to play a very well coached and seasoned team in North Adams. 20 you are a" player" and don't let anyone tell you any different. Even if you drive me nuts. :) Let's have a good week of practice and let's get ready for basketball 30. GO GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I said was "Michael don't worry about the refs that will take care of them". IMO nothing to get tossed out for but this ref came across the floor and showed why he is the boss. Congrats buddy I'm glad to see your hair still looks good.

The entire Proctorville community must be really proud of people like you. Did you really get thrown out and find it prideful to get on here and boast?

Best of luck to the Dragons.

Earp Killer would've been proud. ;-) That kid in the corner killed us all night long. I think it was #11 he could shoot. The Spartans played very hard and I think that is all you can ask for.

The gentleman that was escorted out deserved it! Not so much for the comments he made at the time he was asked to leave but for the childish way he acted leading up to that. The official that tossed him is one of the best if not the best official in the area and probably will be working at the college level soon. The manner in which he acted was not only an embarrassment to him but a very good Fairland team. As for Bob Kight letting him stay on the premises, that is something that I will be contacting the AD about Tuesday. There is no way you can let an individual stay on the property after he was asked to leave a game. Lamb, who is one of the best players I have seen this season, deserved the T he got. It happened right in front of us and he just popped of at the mouth! Parents and the fans that condone this kind of behavior at any kind of athletic event are responsible for the steady decline of quality officials in high school sports. Officials are not paid near enough to put up with senseless behavior from over zealous fans. I am not a Fairland or Alexander fan. I was simply out to enjoy some high school hoops last night close to home. Outside that single incident I thought it was a terrific game by two great teams. Congrats to the Dragon's and good luck the rest of the way! :-D
