Haven't watched Fort yet this year, so I have no idea how the play, but if all the stats go to the same kids, "should" be easier to game plan for... at least in theory lol

They actually have multiple weapons in Lewis , Lochary, and Carpenter. They did lose Clay Baker but his backup ran for 80 yards last week.

So shutting down Lewis wouldn't be enough?

Waterford held him to 50 yards on 18 carries and still gave up 35 points.

Like I said I haven't watched then yet, sounds like a balanced team

I mean you put 9 in the box to shutdown Lewis and that opens up the counter to the slot backs and the play action to Carpenter. Lewis has made it look easy most games. Waterford shut down the middle run but it made the outside wide open and Baker and Lochary torched them.

Last season, Caldwell bottled up the running game pretty well, as did Fredrickstown. But they had very strong defensive lines. The playcallers do a good job of finding holes in the defense if you're just trying to shut down one thing.

This is a huge reason why the Cadets have been a 2nd half team in the Waterford and Northridge games.

Trail scores at the end of the game goes for 2 and misses it. Zeps win 27-26 in a shocker.

Trail is still better than what people think trust me Shenandoah isn't the caliber of team as trail everything was working for Shenandoah that night if it's on a dry field trail wins by 20. Trail definitely has something to prove this week against Fort Frye and week 9 against River

I'm sure if it was dry Trail would of probably scored more and probably win the game. That being said I heard from a few Trail people that they were physically dominated at times.

I was at the game and am a BT fan. We were not physically dominated at any point. Shenandoah scored on a kick return, and three long runs. Outside of that shenandoah went backwards. The wet field conditions slowed us down and made everyone even. From there shenandoah won the game.

Sounds like Trail needs to build a dome, with all the excuses

Idk if I'd exactly agree with they were physically dominated Shenandoah basically put all 11 guys within 10 yards of each other on offense and just kept running the ball and trail stopped it but just gave up a few big plays is all
