Hope Ironton LIKES the SEOAL....
as I understand they voted 3-1 to stay in the League . I personally like the League and enjoy the competition it brings ! I also "heard" that 4 OVC schools questioned about Ironton joining their League said "NO WAY" !! The TIGERS are here to stay SEOAL (LOGAN) !!

Waiting to visualize the sight of TC 71 at an away TIGER game .

With Zanesville gone does that mean one division in all sports? 8 teams will remain after the 2008-2009 season. Starting in the fall of 2009 8 schools will play in the SEOAL. Any chance of moving Chillicothe to the North?
Chillicothe, Logan, Warren and Marietta in the North?
Portsmouth, Jackson, Ironton and Gallipolis in the South?
Maybe football play a round robin format and basketball play everyone in your division twice and everybody in the other division once?
Also, what about baseball and softball playing all teams twice, but play teams in the other division in saturday doubleheaders, so you only travel to the other divison every other year and the doubleheaders could be on saturday, so the kids don't miss any school? Volleyball? Could they play multiple matches in one day? Maybe two matches on a saturday? Have 4 teams play one day at one location? Cut down on travel?

Glad to hear you all are staying Ironton.

Now lets quit this sissy split divison stuff once Zanesville departs and play for an outright schedule in the SEOAL.
