Division V: Region 19 Contenders & Pretenders
You guys know what to do... what teams interest you in Region 19? Who has what it takes, could have what it takes, and probably don't have what it takes to be in the elite 8? Who can win the Region?

I would say a contender would have to be the Minford Falcons. I know that they graduated alot of talent but, this team does have some skilled players coming back. The quarterback, Oesch should have a monster year next year. They will have a few good backs that will be able to provide some quality yardage. And, the offensive line will be anchored by two tanks. Seth Howard and Ethan Hockett. I like Minford to continue the winning ways out at the pasture of pain and get back to the playoffs.

NY was D4 through the '97-'98 school year. NY fell to D5 in the '98-'99 school year, the same year that Wheelersburg fell from D4 to D5.
NY and Wheelersburg faced each other in the playoffs in '97 and '98. '97 was in D4 and '98 was in D5 playoffs.

Ridgewood is solid every year it seems. They have a nice program with a lot of tradition. I saw them play Amanda and Chesapeake in the playoffs a few years back and came away very impressed with how they go about their business.
