Here is the roster for 08 ' team , forgive my spelling this is from memory.

The 12 year olds are:

Kayla Koch , Lucasville
Katie Stevenson , Portsmouth
Kaylin Corns, Lucasville
Tara Journey , West Portsmouth
Megan Lynn, Otway
Emily Richard, Lucasville

The 11 year olds :
Taryn Alvelo , Lucasville
Lindsey Ward , Waverly
Taylor Dempsey , Wheelersburg
Laiken Salyers (10 yr old) Wheelersburg

really wondering if we needed names of girls posted, where they are from, etc. on a forum, especially at their age. ever seen the warning to girls about posting their info, teams they are on, where they live, where they may be...etc. ?
i'm sure we are all nice and upstanding people, but a little caution.. if I saw my daughter's name like that I might be a little concerned

I don't think it's a big deal. All you have to do is go on their website and find the same info.

Blast from 2008 .... an update on these fine fine kids

Kayla Koch ... D-1 verbal to Ball St .
Taryn Alvelo D-1 verbal to Washington in the Pac 12 .. pitched in state tourney as a freshman .. routinely clocked at 68-71 .
Lindsey Ward .. D-1 verbal to Morehead St
TD and Laiken from da Burg .. both potential D-1 recruits , both college level players
Not listed but being recruited by top twenty schools across the country is Michael Cunningham , also a burg kid , all three will be on the Pirates team this year .
the other kids are all outstanding HS players and could continue playing in college ..

To think that group produced 5 or more D-1 players is truly great . great memories for sure . MD

Thanks for the update, pretty amazing. Too bad they don't all still play for a local travel team. I think they would be pretty successful.
