Re: Flooding
Got my hair cut in Ironton today...left right as that first storm was finally fading..went past the high school on 7th St. A couple blocks later I found myself in water up to the center of my wheels. I wasn't driving my truck but my son's Honda and I was scared to death it was going stall out there...I was driving so slow and trying to get off that street...when..two young guys went flying around me..they tossed water clear over my roof and I just knew I was going to stall out but..I didn't...I got to Bartram's and I could finally turn off 7th and there those two guys were..stuck in the middle of the street..flooded out.
To see 7th St flooded like that was just UNREAL!
and..after the unreal cool weather so far..now check out the next five day highs; 94, 96, 96, 97 and 93! that's just such a dramatic change and temps aren't supposed to fall below 90 till Thursday of next week!

I'd be afraid the fish that came from my water would have three heads 10 eyes and would taste funny

My brother lives on 12th in Ironton and a huge tree limb fell and busted out his back window of his car and tore the bumper off.

Re: Flooding
They are too worried about that darn Martings building and that stupid rock to focus on anything else. I am so glad I don't live in Portsmouth with their joke of a city goverment. And they wonder why their town is losing business and people at an alarming rate.
