I disagree. I believe if Logan Elm pulled out the victory it would be one the biggest upsets the tournament could have. Chillicothe gets recognition and hype for a reason: they are THAT good. They were ranked in the top 5 of the state for a reason and Logan Elm hasn't been. That doesn't mean LE is a bad team but they aren't at a Chillicothe level from what I've heard.

Good luck to both teams and represent this part of the state with class and pride.

I'm taking the Braves in this one, I don't look at it as an upset, when teams get this far they deserve to be there!!!

Cavs seem to be looking ahead at the state, and that can be dangerous.

The Cavs on the court are not looking ahead anywhere. Yes, some fans are and many who just have watched us this year. Right now, LE is the most dangerous team we will face (because it is Friday), but in reality they may be the best team we face going forward through the Regional (if we are lucky enough to advance).

No upsets when you get to the District finals. You are correct, so you can't look past anyone. Therefore, we will bring the heat Friday night. Might be cold outside, but the Convo will be approaching to semi quote Nolan Richardson of the National Champion Arkansas Razorbacks "32 minutes of Hell!" IT IS ABOUT TIME FOR BASKETBALL 30 AT THE CONVO. I AM GETTING JACKED.

Good comment. Let the Logan Elm and Chillicothe fans have good seats for the first game, then those fans yield those seats to the Greenfield and Vinton folks for their game. Show some good sportsmanship in the stands.

Bman and others...I completely agree with the respect to give up your seat to fans who's game is being played at the moment. i remember trying to get in the lower level for Zanesville/Chilly regional semi last year and the Tri-Valley fans refused to move and it was mayhem! I'll be there early to get my seat, but for the second game i'll take my hopefully cheerful self up to the second deck and let the greenfielders and Vintonians enjoy the view. Hope this policy is followed by the rest of those in attendance.

HOWEVER!!!! i will not give up a decent seat in the second level

I think Chilly will win this game and I hope they do, so VC can play the best team in the area if they move ahead after Fridays game. However, the more I think about it, the more I think LE can win. The Braves will more than likely pull the big men out from underneath by running a perimiter offense with all players floating around the 3 point line. If they are capible of running the "o" they want, can hit there shots, and most importantly controll the tempo they can get the "W". The only problem for LE (well 3 problems) is Hitchen, Knights and Beverly play great "D" and could cause major headaches for the Braves guards.

DShanton and others: In my total dislike for Army, I guess I unintentionally posted some things that did not appear to put CHS in the best of light. I honestly was not trying to put the school or city down (I have friends kids in the school and my son is buried in the city). I was just trying to push Army's buttons to piss him off because I flat out don't like him. I have received a private message from a Chilli poster that I totally respect and he had some very encouraging words for me - seems I am not alone in my feelings. I will in the future resort back to my previous policy of totally disregarding anything and everything that Army posts in order to prevent future misunderstandings. I really do think it would be great for both the city and SE Ohio for Chilli to win the state - that is if McClain can't beat them. I just posted what I did because I knew it would get under Army's skin. So to everyone not Army, my apologies.

I have resided in Chillicothe since the early 90's. My wife is a graduate of CHS and was raised in Chillicothe. Two, I posted the facts from the OHSAA for you after you went on. The reason I assume you don't like me is, someone from Chillicothe finally stood up to you and countered your smears concerning our kids and their school system. Last year and now this year too

I too had several PM's from Chillicothe Posters talking about you last year during football season. They sent me their concerns of why you were always on our site putting down the CAVS, the school, the city and especially our kids. You went through this in 2006 and 2007 on your CAV bashing cycle during our football and basketball seasons. You continued to bash our Team, the SEOAL, the City School System, the Size of our City, and of course, the where is all our kids going, in an almost 22,000 populated City? And now, you have did it again this season for Basketball. When I received all the PM's from Chilli Posters about you last year, all I did was, reply to them, that you were are a zealot from GF McClain and are harlmess.

The apology I expect was accepted, but this is not the first time we have seen you on here bashing Chillicothe and our kids. And I assume, it won't be the last, considering your track record. As you stated about our population vs enrollment, you stated the same thing last year too.

Bluegrassvike-LE can try to draw Chilly's bigs outside, but there are only two problems with that. 1. Chambers doesnt need to respect Largent from outside because he's not a shooter from farther than 12-14 feet. 2. Chilly's bigs are all comfortable playing defense on the perimeter. Heck Chambers guarded Logan Aronhalt in the two Zanesville games. If you want to pull the bigs out we have guards who rebound and that just means they have bigger bodies waiting on the other end to finish when we get the rebound and go go go!

I will defend our kids school no matter what you say VC. No one is going to slander our system and say it's second class. I am definitly not going to be slandered on here EITHER. I wasn't the one that started this crap. So stay in your lane or check the facts. I will agree with some earlier posts that if LE could pull off the upset it would be one of the biggest so far in this tournament. I would have to agree. We watched LE in one tournament game and 2 regular season games, I have to agree with you. The CAVS have to much speed and will control the boards. You can't never count LE out, they have always been a good basketball team. But I have to give this one to our CAVS.

One thing you have to give credit concerning the town of Greenfield. They follow there basketball team, that's for sure! We watched Greenfield McClain last year play Hillsboro at Southern State Community College and they had that Gym filled. There whole town must turn out in B-Ball season huh? Do they follow their Tigers that way in Football too? I don't know, just asking? Both games at the CONVO will be good ones that's for sure.

As for Chillicothe's test against LE, it will be how our team goes around LE when they try to slow the tempo of the game down. I believe we wil own the boards and will also press them. Can't wait.
