Wesleyan Football Inks Three More

West Virginia Wesleyan head football coach Bill Struble announced the signing of three student-athletes Wednesday, welcoming Todd Benners, Wes Marsh and Beau Weed to the Bobcat football program.
Benners, from Princeton, and Marsh, a Weston native, hail from West Virginia, while Weed resides in South Point, Ohio, a small town across the Ohio River from Huntington.

A 6-1, 180-pound wide receiver/athlete, Benners will add depth to a receiving corps that will be without graduating senior and First Team All-WVIAC selection Alex Puente in 2008.

Marsh, a 6-1, 280-pound offensive lineman, adds some much-needed bulk up front, while Weed, a 6-3, 175-pound free safety/athlete, will bring versatility to the defensive secondary.

With the addition of Benners, Marsh and Weed, Wesleyan has inked 11 players for its 2008 recruiting class

Weed is a good athlete. WV Wesleyan is an excellent school. More se ohio athletes should look at the WVAC.

Great to see someone going to the almighty WVIAC!! Struble is an EXCELLENT coach. He is a great person and one of the best to learn from.Good luck except when you meet up w/ the Hilltoppers of West Liberty!
