As far as I'm concerned, AlabamaMike was a celeb long before these last few years at the Convo.

I don't think the Mods woud allow the officials name to be mentioned on this site but I'd say if you went to any game at the Convo over the last 3 years, you would've heard his name announced.

I am curious about this particular official as I continue to hear about his history and love for slapping a T on someone. I am sure Coach U. was irate about the call, but it is tough to get a T at that point. With the 3-ball now days, you are never out of the game.

hitch, this was the same official that was constantly out of position and inconsistent in the Chilly-LE game. Missed the double dribble by Hitchens because he couldn't get down the floor quick enough, swallowed his whistle when the Chilly kid got gang banged under the hoop and took turns hammering BOTH LE and then Chilly with bad or no calls in the 2nd half. This guy needs to do Southeast Ohio a favor and take 2 weeks off then quit. He is the most inconsistent Ref down here. It's ok if you're bad or good as long as you're consistent otherwise a kid can't adjust. Watched this guy for years and hasn't got any better since doing Jr Hi. This just added to Hunt. coaches anger.
I'm not saying this is why 'Burg won, it wasn't. 'Burg was the better team.
And he was not the ref that T'ed up the Waverly kid at burg. I was there, I heard what the kid said, needed the T and was told by the official go sit down and cool off.

sawdust, I did not say he was the ref that T'd up a Waverly player against Burg. He did NOT officiate a Waverly/Burg game, thank goodness.

He is the one that T'd Walls up twice at the end of the Unioto sectional game. Anyone who knows Trevor Walls knows something was amiss. The guy officiated a pathetic game that night and had it in for the New Mexico State signee.

you would think that in a district title game, the elite officials would call the game. If this is the elite of the se district, we are all in trouble.When the call on Cottrill was made, Huntington had the momentom, and a turn around jumper would have made it a 3 point game. It had to come down to "look at me" .I would have taken 2 jb's and a toby over these guys.
