Millie: This is the Associated Press team correct? Do you have any idea when the coaches list will come out?

Congrats to Division 4 Coach of the Year, Kristie Johnson. She has truly turned around the girl's basketball program at South Webster from what it was the past few years. Also, congrats to all the S0C players who made the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd teams, as well as honorable mention. Your hard work is gratefully appreciated...

Congrats to Meghan Martin, Jasmine Vinson, Monique Lee and Megan Lee on their selections to the SE All-Districts teams. Combined with the efforts of the other great girls in the program and Coach Hughes, they have put Chillicothe in a position of being a well respected and winning program. Two great back to back years, and the future is bright.

Great Job...

GO LADY CAVS!!!

'Bright Future' for Chillicothe basketball? Has an Amy Hughes team ever advance out of the sectional tournament? Why not have a freshman team when you have the numbers? Why have your JV team dress durning the tourney only to stand under the basket during warmups?

Amy Hughes has already coached a team to the State Final Four at Ironton.Took several other Ironton teams well beyond the sectionals. If she didn't lose a star player to injury and another star player to transfer they most likely would have gone well beyond the sectionals this year. Also, you have to remember, she just completed her second year with The Lady Cavs as well. There is a transition period for any coach in a new place.Give her more time she will get the job done. She is one of the finest young coaches in Ohio.Chillicothe got a WINNER for sure!

I think she will find girls D2 is alittle tougher to get there than D3.
Not enough D2 schools so you get shipped or they bring teams in.
