Coal Grove. Schedule is set up for a playoff run. We could get in with an undefeated record as well as 9-1, an 8-2 record may get us in but that is on the bubble in the new Region 19.

Really??
Baseball season just started and you're wondering about something that won't take place until next November. Lots of factors to consider before anyone can even think about who might make the playoffs.

Yes really!!!! Some don't keep up with baseball. Besides that it's a football thread.
Re: 2012 playoff teams?
Who cares about baseball. It's all about Football around here. Should be having spring high school football practice here in Ohio. Portsmouth West is a shoe in for the Playoffs in 2012 !!!

No one is a shoe in at this time of year. Injuries to key players can change a season completely. Look what happened to West after they lost Trevon. Perfect example.

Loosing Trevon is not a perfect example, It wasnt pre-season it was the 9th game and they made the play-offs.

Would love to see the Waverly Tigers make a playoff run in 2012 but the best outlook for the Tigers would be a 5-5 season. That would be a big improvement over the last several years.

Re: 2012 playoff teams?
True, 5-5 would be great but the 2013 seniors have had enough losing in there career. I think there willing to give anything for a winning season.

Whole bunch of optimism on this thread so I'll join: CHILLICOTHE
I know many people believe the CAVS are still a year away, but off-season optimism, and if the oblong pigskin were to bounce the CAVS' way all season this young team could be very dangerous. Good luck to everyone in SE Ohio, represent! :122245
