Kevin M. Chapman art teacher and Boys swim coach arrested

Looks like bad things can happen at a upscale high school also.

An art teacher and boys swim coach at Upper Arlington High School was arrested today and charged with two counts of rape and one of sexual battery.




Upper Arlington police said Kevin M. Chapman, 51, was charged based on incidents in 1996 and 1997 on school property. The victim was a girl who was 15 at the time, police and the city law director said.

Chapman, of 4885 Sharon Hill Drive, was arrested in the high school office about 2:15 p.m., said district Superintendent Jeffrey Weaver.
