It wouldn't have been a game had Ready made free throws.

This was a great game to watch. Like FalconFan said earlier... it could have been a lot worse for Wheelersburg if Bishop Ready would have made their lay ups and foul shots. But nonetheless, the knights still pulled off the victory. Congratulations to Bishop Ready on the win and to Wheelersburg on a great season.

Re: Boys Regional Semi Finals: Wheelersburg vs. Bishop Ready
Congrats to Ready and good luck in the regional finals. Man, did they light it up from behind the arc tonight. They had to hit 6 or 7 threes, maybe more. The sad thing is as poorly as Wheelersburg played they had a chance at the end of the game when Drew broke away for a layup and was grabbed from behind which was an obvious intentional foul and none of the officials had the balls to make the call and instead just called a regular foul, which was only the 5th on Ready, and the Burg had to take it out of bounds. It should have been Drew at the line shooting two shots for a chance to tie and the Burg getting the ball with 4.4 seconds left. No one will ever convince me that wasn't an intentional foul. Drew had his man beat and was driving to the basket and the boy just wrapped his arms around Drews waist from behind and never even went for the ball. All he did was grab Drew because he knew he had an open layup if he didn't.
Congrats to the Pirates on another fine season. 21-3 for the year, a final ranking of 6th in the AP poll, and their third straight District title and regional appearance. Great job boys!!!
Also thanks to the seniors Drew Spradlin, Matt Jenkins, Matt Stegman, Daniel Armstrong. Kyle Blevings, JT Conley, Dustin Cook, and Dustin Proehl. You guys definetely made it a fun year of basketball.

Congrats to CBR on the win tonight against Wheelersburg. The Knights made the plays needed late in the game. BR also hit nine, three pointers in the game against the Pirates. Burg played hard but just did not come out with the win.

Quit trying to act so innocent. Everybody here, including you, knows why you posted that.
You are a great sport ( ) and an embarrassment to Minford fans.

Yes, CBR was extraordinary from three point range tonight. I can remember #30 hitting at least 4 or 5 of those that you mentioned, in clutch situations. It seemed like any time burg took the lead or got on a little run, Bishop Ready would answer with big three's and get themselves back into the game. That had to be frustrating on the Burg defense.

Sounds to me like both Southern Ohio teams got the "Ole up north treatment!" tonight.
