The U.N sponsored a conference in Thailand to promote the eating of bugs. Scientists said 1,400 species of high-protein crickets,grubs and other creepy-crawlies could help large populations survive a femine. "It's excellent food," said Dutch entomologist Arnold van Huis, urging Western aid agencies "to take a different attitude towards this."
