An honest and legit question

Post by mvlnewlex »

What in the world is the point in creating a "history forum"

a forum that is going to be mostly empty.

Couldnt chat handle that ?

this has me scratching my head a little bit.

I feel like you guys are trying too hard to walk the "politically correct" high wire.

What is going to be left for chat ? Can you create me a "weather forum" please ? Heck, lets have a "music forum". and then a "country music forum" for those that dont like rock. Will Lynyrd Skynyrd be allowed on both ?

If Newlex gets a weather forum, I will demand an origami forum. Then when will it end? It'll be anarchy!

Hey, face it, it's Matt's site, he'll do with it what he wants and at his choosing and what he decides he wants to or not to deal with. Try to go with the flow.

Someone asked for a history forum when they first closed the politics forum.

Personally I kinda like the idea of different forums.

to many times things get posted that just get hidden away 2 or 3 pages back because of other things being posted. and I may only leave page 1 2 or 3 times a year. so let there be other forums. more things can and will get talked about that way.

I want an Indian Artifact Forum then

wouldn't that be history?

Personally I am enjoying the history forum while I am looking up items for my sons homeschooling I am finding things interesting and posting them on the History page if they were posted here on the chat forum they'd get lost in my opinion.. :122245

It's actually pre-history because all of my pieces are prehistoric and precede Americas history by hundreds and thousands of years, but I guess I could actually post about them on the History Forum. I think they are actually wanting things about local history after the settlers came in and took over the land.
