Lucasville Valley (15-2; 11-0) @ Minford 11-5 (8-3)

Post by coop »

Valley FINALLY let the nerves calm and they arent scared now....so they are gonna head over to Minford Tuesday night for an SOC 2 battle. This is a pre-matchup as these two will battle it out for a Sectional title on the 24th.

This game will rival that in competitiveness, as Valley is trying to lock in a share of the SOC 2 title, and Minford is trying to spoil Valleys quest for a 14-0 conference mark.

These 2 went to OT the first time around, where Valley pulled away in the OT to win by 15 (because the refs  )

Gonna be a great game between 2 good teams!

*****Minford is 12-5 (7-4) my mistake *****

Let's just hope the indians don't get scared and cancel again

In all seriousness, should be a great game.

The first one was very good. Minford had it to win but missed FT's down the stretch, and you can't fault valley for making them pay for it. Certainly the Falcons have the talent and ability to win this game, they just have to execute at a high level. Small mistakes get magnified in games between two teams this good. Very cliché, but turnovers and FT % will be very telling stats tomorrow night. Great rivalry continued.

How do these two teams matchup? I haven't been able to watch either team play this year. From what I can see Valley's only loss is to state ranked Ironton. Is it worth the trip down 32 to watch this game?

It would be WELL worth the trip...however, these 2 teams match up again for a Sectional championship on Feb. 24th.

Valley has lost 2 games...both were within 1o days after they played a Regional Title football overtime game.

Valley lost to:

Zane Trace 74-72 in 2 OTs
Ironton 53-50 (led by 8 in the 4th)

The Indians have won 14 straight and are 11-0 in the SOC.

The first game went to overtime, where Valley pulled away and won by 15...it will be a great ballgame.

Stuck at home tonight and cant make it to the game, is this one going to be on 99.3? If it is I'll take care of the updates as much as possible.

If it's not on the radio, I'll have someone texting me updates, I'll chime in from time to time.

Look who's back....As I said a week ago jerkoff, no one cares what you have to say.

Moving on...My 15 minute tax appointment turned into an hour and I am stuck at the office. Looks like I'm following on the radio. This is gonna suck.

I figured he would at least wait until we lost. I guess since we are out of home games, he doesn't have anything to do. LOL!
