Valley is a good team. Minford is one year away from dominating the SOC.

I still think this will be a very good, close game when they meet in the tournament.

Its tough to beat a team 3 times in a season, but it will be tougher for Minford to find an answer to 4 players in double figures by next week.

It is very hard...but Minford also cant expect Valley to go 0-11 from 3 in the Sectional...it's gonna be a fun one on the 24th.

Valley is last year's Oak Hill. They have a very athletic senior class that are good in all sports. It will vanish just like it did with most sports at Oak Hill when they lost all that talent. Not a knock on Valley, its just what is gonna happen. Hard to replace than many exceptional athletes in a smaller school.

Before you knock me, relax....that is a compliment to Valley's senior class.

They are here right now..so we'll worry about that then. But there are some VERY good kids coming up...

True......but I wouldnt expect Minford's big men to fall asleep underneath and give up bunnies all night under the rim on pick and rolls like they did last night. For Valley, they kept going back to it and it was there.

I was curious: Why no full court press in the 4th quarter from Minford? Why just let Valley walk the ball up the floor the entire quarter?

Valley's JV is 16-1 and the 8th grade is 13-1.

Valley has 2 sophomores in their top 6. The Indians might not win the SOC next year, but they will be just fine.
