Once again, with those big guards this came belongs to Hitchens, which will open up for someone other than Chambers.

Go Cavs

This is going to be one of the rare times where Chilli's big two will be matched up against even talent from the other team. This game is going to come down to supporting cast like Seth Dawes, Stu Beverly, Caleb Knights and Ron Smith.

Good luck to the Cavaliers!

FYI... there is an excellent article in today's edition of the Dayton Daily News about Chilly and specifically Ray Chambers. I am ignorant when it comes to providing a direct link via a forum like this, so if you want to see it, simply go to Daytondailynews.com. Go to the sports section and navigate your way to the state high school basketball tournament articles. All eyeballs in the sportsworld across Ohio will be on Chilly tomorrow. Go Cavs!!!

Best of luck to Chillicothe. I would hope that ALL of southern Ohio would be pulling for you.

I DVR'd the 2 semi-final games and the DVR didn't record the Chilly game...but STO had it on at 2:30 am so I recorded it again.

After watching both....Chilly can win if they keep Hump and Chambers on the court.

Hitchens looked amazing during the semi-final....looked like an all-american collegiate player. His speed and energy is unmatched..if he's hitting....they'll win.

Of course Chambers must be at about 30 (combined pts and boards) as well

O.K. CAVS...from Japan, it's time to step up and play an A game like no other. God Bless you kids. Keep the faith with each other and your coaches. Listen to coach K, depend on each other and what got you here this far. Stay focused, just like against North College Hill, Dayton Dunbar, Newark and Zanesville at their place. Be determined to let nothing get in your way come Saturday morning. Reach for the Stars. Many people on here has counted you kids out several times, but we in Chillicothe have known your potential. You are a special bunch. No matter what the outcome we love you and thank you for the blessings you all have provided for our community. You can do it CAVS. Believe in yourselves. Look at this ball game as just another one on the hard floor, no more no less. Concentrate and support each other. Respect the other team and don't take them for granted. Stay out of foul trouble, hit your buckets, and look for each others guidance as you play against Toledo Libby. Remember what got you here, and never forget how you got here.

Again God Bless you kids and bring back the State Title along with the Trophy to Chillicothe :!: :-D

Rock the House CAVS :!: :-D

Go CAVS...refuse to lose :!: :-D

Roll Big Blue and White to Victory :!: :-D

GO SEOAL :!: :-D

bronc21,

Some times you have to call people what they are. I have not seen any stupid post all week and along comes this clown acting like he is Dick Vitale and has it all figured out. It looks like everyone else is pretty much ignoring him.

I just posted over there the following:

D1 Final Newark vs Cleveland St. Edwards
D2 Final Chilly vs Toledo Libbey

In January on the same day on the same court, D2 Libbey knocked off St. Edwards and earlier in the day, the Cavs knocked off the other State Finalist Newark.

D2 looks real good.

If you think about the Cavs schedule (even with some of the blowout SEOAL games), I can't believe there were 1 tougher schedules in the state. I know the Cincy league with St. Xavier, Moeller ect is brutal, but my goodness, look at who we took on. To be the best, play the best and eventually learn how to beat the best.

GO CAVS!!! REFUSE TO LOSE!!! TAKE NO PRISONERS!!! 6 DOWN! 1 TO GO!

Army,

We love your spirit. The kids are ready and they will leave everything on the court tomorrow. I talked to Hump after the game yesterday and he has that look. The other kids do as well. Wish you were here, but we had 3,000 plus Cavs fans hanging out yesterday. I am sure more will find their way in tomorrow morning.

Hitchbone signing out until tomorrow evening, when we return. Win or lose, these Cavs are my champions.

GO CAVS!!! REFUSE TO LOSE!!! YOU ARE WINNERS!!!

Hitchbone64,

Thanks partner. It's already 6:40 PM Saturday evening here at Atsugi Naval Air Facility in Japan. I met a man who has worked and lived here as a Department of Navy Civilian since 1973 after serving in the USAF. He is originally from Marion, Ohio. He had a special message to pass on to Humpty and the Team. GO Chillicothe CAVS win the State Title :!: :-D

I wish I could be there too. I hope they have the turn out like the Poland Seminary game. Sounds like it was a great following. I pray our kids and Toledo Libby's too stay safe and it's a great game. I also pray that our CAVS hit every thing they shoot, to include their foul shots, and take command of the boards. I also pray that they stay out of foul trouble. They have really excited so many in our community of Chillicothe this year. When I got to work on Friday at U.S. Army Forces Japan, (Camp Zama) which is about 30 minutes from where I am staying on Atsugi NAF, I was bragging on the kids defeating the number 1 Ohio Team in D2. I pray for a special blessing upon our CAVS that they will rise up like wings of eagles and bring home the State Title.

CAVS...trust and believe kids :!: :-D

(Psalm 37:4) says,

Love God with your whole heart and soul and He will give you the desires of your heart :!: :-D

Rock the House CAVS :!: :-D

Go CAVS....refuse to lose :!:

Roll Big Blue and White Cavaliers to Victory :!: :-D

Go SEOAL :!: :-D

interesting side note...Humpty needs 6 points to break Combs' Ross County scoring record.

I doubt that will be a problem for him.LOL

Good luck to the Cavs. They can win this game if, like someone said above, Humpty and Chambers can stay on the court. Libbey will matchup very well with the Cavs, but with the game of basketball, anything can happen and most usually does.

Cavs, know this. All of Southeastern Ohio is pulling for you. I wonder if everyone realizes that this is the 4th year in a row that a team from Southeastern Ohio has made the final four and the second time that a team is playing for it all (South Webster). You can do it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it 2005 that Ironton played NCH for it all? That would make it the 3rd time, not the 2nd.
