Re: ATV's
I own a Polaris 425 Magnum 4x4. I use it mostly for hunting and keeping the driveway in shape. I went on a lot of trail rides when I first got it.

I guess I'm somewhat of a purist. I pretty much believe that if you're not man enough to WALK in to where the big bucks are, then you don't deserve one..... unless you are physically handicapped of course.

Well, we hunt with ours, sort of, we walk to where we hunt but use it to get the deer out. It's a heck of a lot easier than having to drag it up the side of a muddy hill .
We just got a Suzuki Eiger 4x4, camo & automatic down in lancaster with a warn 2500 lbs. winch.

Re: ATV's
The reason I use mine to hunt with is because we hunt 4 huge farms that all lay together and don't want to spend an hour walking when I could be hunting.

You can't hunt before daylight or after dark. Leave earlier.
(Well, most of us don't).

Do they suppress your compression and harm your engine ?
What is the brand name and where do you get them?

Re: ATV's
Abusing the use of ATV's could possibly get them banned from hunting areas in the future.

The danger is a direct reflection to the rider. As far as being slow there are some very fast quads out there. Even in the utility line.
