Kurt earns All/American---The Ashland University track standout from Athens recently placed 8th in the shot put at the NCAA Division II nationals at Minnesota State University.
Kurt, who was named All/American, was the highest-placing freshman in the country. He has a personal best throw of 55-feet, one inch.
The Athens High School grad won the Ohio Division state shot put championship in the spring of 2006.

I got to hear from Coach Logan at the State Clinic and he said a lot of good things about Mr. Roberts. I got to watch him his senior year and he was very impressive.

At the Findlay meet this past weekend Kurt qualified for the Olympic Trials with a throw of 66' 7 1/2'....His first step in his post graduate dreams...
