Notre Dame beat East tonight something like 12-2. East has to start playing better and the outfield has to learn to read the ball off the bat and take the right angles. Honestly, I think I would like to see a lineup of

C-Swords
RF-Herforth
CF-Peters
3rd-Ramey
SS-Adkins
P-Williams
LF-Caudill
2nd-Dinguss
1st-Alred

East played well considering they had players out of position because of four starters not being there.

Keep working girls, it will come together.

Clay beat Symmes Valley 7-0. Give credit where credit is due. Groves pitched a good game. Very consistant. Went there expecting some home cooking, however the officials did a good job. (In my opinion)

Wish we could have done better. Our expected hitters didn't. Our typical non hitters did hit, but not solid.

Hats off to Clay.

Eastern over East, East had the lead going into the 7th with two outs Eastern hit a line drive to short in which the girl caught it for the third out but dropped it threw it to 2nd for the force out but the not one of 3 umps called the force out to keep the inning going for the Eagles. IMO terrible call, then East threw a game out at home but was called safe...

Fact is Eastern might have won the game in the books but East was robbed of an important win.

Very true, TartanBlue..SAd that 3 officials didn't see the force out at second..Pathetic after that I had to walk away..So didn't see the ball threw home..Great hit, NIkki, 3 run homerun!!!! We all know who truely won the game!!

East played better today. I don't want to say anything about the calls ;-). East still had some e's that allowed scores for Eastern. It was nice to see the big home run hit.

They say don't judge a book by its cover. And they are right. I watched Notre Dame warmup and they were flat as a pancake, Eastern seen to be ready to play.

ND pitcher seemed to be down and off her game but sent the first batters to the pine and the ND bats started slammen, man those girls can hit. Keller and Richendollar was inches from going yard and Glockner, and several others getting tripples .

Eastern took the advantage of all the ND subs and scored 2 in the top of the 7th.

Eastern goes down to ND 8-2

IMO...subs had nothing to do with it. The Eagles finally just started hiting the ball.

A little change on the mound and it was a whole new ball game for the Eagles. ND never scored again after the 4th.

Great second 1/2 of the game for the Eagles. They always seem to have one bad inning. E's are getting better. But mental mistakes are still happening.

Eastern faces another challenge tonight with Clay on their home turf.

Eastern played a good game. The bats did start late in the 7th.

Good group of girls. I can't beleive all of talent on that team, I mean a lot with several playing summer ball.
