Symmes Valley goes down to Green.
Good Game and Great turn out
for our Strike out Cancer Game.
(the field looked great with all the pink)

Symmes Valley scored first and the
game stayed 1-0 until the 5th inning.
Green had a girl score on an error which
made it 1-1.
With a girl on first, Green hits a Home Run off
the Center field fence to make it 3-1.
Good Game .................one bad inning for
the Vikings.
Hats off to Coach Bailey and his crew!!!

East just couldn't find gaps and get runners in, East also had trouble adjusting to the pitching in which alot of teams will do against her with her not throwing as hard as Groves, Keller, and Thompson

Katie Malone is doing a fine job as a freshmen. I'm just proud of the girls more so because no one gave them any credit the beginning of the year. The entire team is doing a fine job.

I didn't say Malone didn't do a good job, I just stated that East didn't adjust to her pitching as they should have...You, youself can't even deny her pitching speed is slower than that of Groves, Keller, Thompson, along with a couple others in the SOC in which it gives her an upper hand with batters having to adjust to her. One thing I would like to see New Boston do come tourny time as long as it isn't against East is start with Euton and then make the change to Malone in which would have batters way ahead in their swing and get a few ground balls.

As far as people not giving them any credit the beginning of the year, they started 3-7 were they into games yeah pretty much all of them...but if you are going to use that as a reason East was also in pretty much all of their games they lost so there for East should only have 4 losses then....to Green(x2),Clay, Symmes Valley, and Notre Dame.

East has to learn how to pull out the close games that is a giving, they are off tomarrow but play Notre Dame friday Paint Valley saturday win these games and get back to and over .500 on the year.

Tartanblue..........What is your problem?
I simply posted the score.
I did not imply you said anything about Katie.
You cannot compare a freshmen pitcher to some of the other school's upperclassmen.
New Boston won the game.
You know what I am talking about when I said that others did not give NB a chance this year. I did not say that you said anything.
And, What are you talking about when you say use that as a reason........A reason for what?

Congrats to the Lady Tigers! Good job by the Lady Tartans! It was a very good game. Good Luck to both the rest of the season and into the tournament!

The way you responded from first post about, it had the impression that you thought I was insulting the girl and thought she wasn't a good pitching. When in fact she has control and she gives batters something to adjust to.

As far as a reason, for people "not giving you credit"...they started the year 3-7 you and I both know that starting 3-7 in a year is hard and that even losing close games are bad losses. Heck East has won 10 games and I will be the first to say they really haven't beat a quality team.

Thanks Tartanblue.......

We both want the best for both schools. Your freshmen pitcher does a fine job also.

Peace and Good Luck!

I'd like to note that the Minford girls softball team picked up win # 2 last night against Oak Hill. The Falcons were led by Alysha Lyons who pitched a stellar game with 11 stikeouts.
