Was the game at SP or Itown? If at Sp I know they played a minor league girls game on it at 6:00. :?

The game was scheduled to be played at Ironton.

Sounds like a mystery to me why it wasn't played?

gee I wonder why S.Pt didn't want to play??? Hum let me guess maybe they don't want to take a chance on a loss before sectional seeding. They wouldn't reschedule with Chesapeake until next Tuesday.

are you being serious?

The game was scheduled to be played at Ironton and from what I heard the whole South Point team loaded up on the bus and went to Ironton's field and nobody from Ironton was there. Ironton canceled the game, not SP! So I would double check your facts before making assumptions like that.

As far as the Chesy/SP make up game...thats a decision only the coaches can make and I am sure they both agreed on that date, not just one.

Panthers win a close one against the Rock Hill 6-4, wasn't a pretty win but we will take it. This moves their record to 13-5. Still this team hasn't played their best ball.

For your info, SP went to the field... ready to play... no body called to tell us it was cancelled... Ironton canceled not us... We were later told it was because there was water on the field... the field was playable ... there was a little puddle behind first base that would have taken 15 minutes to sweep and play. Offered Ironton to come to SP and play cause our field was ready and Ironton said they could not... SP will play Ironton anywhere anytime....Chesapeake asked to have the game rescheduled for tuesday not SP... get your facts right before you open your mouth and stick your foot in it...

just going on what was said. Was told Chesapeake wanted the gam on thursday. And as far as S.pt and Ironton go it's tit for tat. S.PT should roll through that game.

Congrats to the Lady Panthers on another OVC win. Nice game Allie. Could of been better without the drama of Rock Hill.

A coach thrown out then a scene after the game on the field, name calling to the officals it was just unneeded, unsportsman like and totally uncalled for. Shame for the kids at RH to have to go through that.

I know the coach has had a tough time this year. The girls have had a hard time adjusting to him. I really like watching him coach a game, but coaching isn't just about the game, it's a lot about knowing personalities and that each girl is different. Some of them can handle him and I'm afraid that some are losing the love they had for the game. I hope the girls can find a good medium, because this team is young and is the future of our high school team. I hope the coach realize that these girls want to love to play the game, not just play it!! I'm still proud of all the girls, it has been a lot of fun watching them this year.

How many seniors does the hill have? And what did the coach do to get throwed out? Was it Mary that got thrown out?
