Why would that score baffle you hosscat, teams do have bad games and we have had a few, but we have also laid the wood to some good teams, or should I say metal.

the score surprised me too. more so that Chesapeake only scored three runs against Portsmouth.....my guess was the slower pitching possibly threw them off? Portsmouth has had a tough year...I thought Coal Grove had a real shot at beating them.


but you are right...all teams can have bad games and Chesapeake found a way to win, which is the most important.
