Re: SEOAL Scores and Standings
Around how many Ks do the GAHS pitchers have this year? They seem to be having a good season.
Re: SEOAL Scores and Standings
Just getting the outs and wins is all that matters. Doesn't matter how you do it, just get it done, right?
Re: SEOAL Scores and Standings
Anyone notice the run average difference between what Gallia allowed vs South/North
EDIT: I know we only allowed 1 run to Logan in 7.2 innings

Great season gahs4ever, when you win that many games you have to be doing something right, it looks like you'll be strong next year also, I look forward to trying to beat you guys next year at your place. Great season.
Re: SEOAL Scores and Standings
Congrats to a great year GAHS!!
I was jw on that game thought maybe that's how things were. I think at that point when the girls played everyone was getting the feel for positions and so on. I was jw. You know how it goes at the end of the season. Sometimes we have to question our memories lol.
Again congrats to a great season and hope you keep it all going inot next season.
ote="gahs4ever"]Yes, but you have to understand that early in the year we were still finding out who we were. We had to replace an all-district SS and a 1B who had only committed 1 error in over 200 chances the year before.
In addition we have five freshman who were making the move straight up to varsity. One became SEOAL POY at SS, and the other batted .571 in the leadoff spot this year.
The one move that made the biggest impact on our late run was in moving All-SEOAL OF Brittyn Saunders in to solidify our infield at 3B. She has a cannon of an arm and makes all the plays, committing only two errors all year.
Not to make excuses, but Im not sure if our leadoff hitter played at Chesapeake. She had a seperated shoulder about that time and missed a couple of weeks, and our cleanup hitter was suspended for two games because a certain Washington County umpire kicked her out at Warren. I know she missed that game.
At any rate, I know Chesapeake has a fine softball program and getting beat by them is no disgrace. Also, Im sure they got better as the season went on just as we did. I always enjoy playing the Lady Panthers.[/quote]
