fairland takes ovc championship tonight with a convincing win over rock hill .with the loss of 2 starters on monday and another starter finding out his dad passed away yesterday,it has been impressive how the kids dealt with the adversity.the kid whose dad passed away showed some serious courage by playing tonight because of the 2 player losses.how did he respond?3 hits and 5 rbi's.it sent chills down your spine to see his performance.these kids stepped up as a complete team this week under a lot of pressure.the junior group are the kids who have had statewide success on several occasions and there have been high expectations put on them.congratulations boys.

wow my heart goes out to the player whose dad passed away yesterday. how horrible that must be to go through. thats great that he got the 3 hits and 5 rbi's...maybe in a small way it will make him feel better. my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

Congrats to Fairland... they deserve the title... well disciplined and well coached team... their pitcher tonight was in total command of his pitches and kept the Redmen guessing all night.
