Re: Who is the best running back from SEO in the last 5 years?
I can't think of an OUTSTANDING RB from southeastern Ohio but I think Jared Pendleton from west is one of the best I have seen in the SOC the last 5 years
Re: Who is the best running back from SEO in the last 5 years?
T.J. McDonald from Jackson High School Class of 2004. Very tough athlete.

JoJo Parker, Jeremy Hambrick, Jerimiah Bolden from Portsmouth.
Re: Who is the best running back from SEO in the last 5 years?
Falcon fan--ask Big Dowg --how he liked my dogs down in Portsmouth this year--think 1 of my dogs ran for over 200 and 4 touchdown and had a 60 some yarder called back and didn't see much of 4th quarter---
Re: Who is the best running back from SEO in the last 5 years?
One guy that comes to mind down here is Hyland from Coal Grove. Not the fastest but I dont think I have seen a kid run harder and with more brutality than him.

Re: Who is the best running back from SEO in the last 5 years?
Mike hunt from peake has to make the list. . . one of the fastest and best tackle breakers i've seen in a long time. . . .
jo jo parker was good
i dont see hyland making the list. . . . but KC christian when healthy could make things happen with his speed
williams, and lewis from ironton. . .and also pendleton from west. .
but still the best two were parker and hunt. . . . IMHO

One of the top considerations has to be Trent Reynolds from Minford. He may not have amassed multiplied 1,000s of yards, but he was right around 1,000 his junior and senior year, plus he was the top receiver, I believe, this past year. He had a nice average per carry ratio and absolutely punished whoever was tackling him. He also set Minford''s season record for TDs this year. Throw in heart and you have an all around great back.

i think two of the best back would have to be jojo parker-portsmouth and jared pendleton-portsmouth west
jojo was one of the most explosive backs i have ever seen
pendleton was all state two times and honorable mention once, he was also ranked as the #72 best runing back his senior year on espn.com

I would have to mention Brad Young and Thomas Mayes from Wellston they were both good . I think Jo Jo Parker was probably the best in this area though.JMHO.

Re: Who is the best running back from SEO in the last 5 years?
If we're talking the last 5 years, JoJo Parker can't be included. Have to go 10 years. I know that seems impossible, but it HAS been that long. Same for Brad Young, and maybe Thomas Mayes, but I can't remember for sure.
Re: Who is the best running back from SEO in the last 5 years?
Mayes was a senior during the 2002 season so he probably shouldn't be included. Young's last season was 2001. Time flies.
JoJo Parker played at Fairmont State for a while...maybe 2 years. He was there with Jeff Bolen from Jackson.

JoJo Parkers last season was 2002. That was only 6 years.
