Your not giving the Hocking Division much credit this season - and there is where you are making the mistake. River Valley gave the game away versus Southern? The Tornadoes earned a 15-point win and it was the season opener! lol ... They are better now than when I seen them just a month ago - and they hadn't even brought 6-foot-7 Chandler Drummer up from the JV yet versus RV ... He now starts at center.

I just don't see how a team that losses to a (4-12) Alexander team thinks they are 'comparable' to either Belpre or Southern.
first, lets not make an overtime game seem like a 15 point coaster....secondly, i dont think RV is better than belpre or southern but they certainly can play with both of them and are more than capable of beating either one. Belpre and southern are both better than RV but neither team is exceptional and could easily lose to an RV team that plays solid defense.

Southern also lost to Eastern during those first few weeks of the season ... The loss should have never happened - that is when the decision was made to bring up the 6-foot-7 sophomore ... The first game with a 'true center' resulted in a 30-point win over Meigs and the Tornadoes havn't looked back ...

Honestly sg would be better off to get a 4 seed. Notre dame sounds a little easier then a south Webster whiteoak or Manchester

SG was a low seed last year - and once at the Convo - the Rebels (7 seed) knocked off a (17-3) Symmes Valley team that was the No. 2 seed ... They know how to do it - and IMO - the Rebels are a better team this year than they were a year ago ... They are a match-up nightmare for any team ... Most DIV teams don't run up and down the court playing man-to-man full court press defense from start to finish ... With their up-tempo style and outside shooting - they can beat ANYONE ... But if those threes aren't falling - they could just as well get beat by anyone.

That's the smartest thing I have heard on here in a very long time. South Gallia is capable of beating and losing to anyone. They have always played an uptempo style under coach Saunders and they do shoot alot of 3s. They are fun to watch but always seem to get it rolling in the tournament. GO REBELS!!!!!

johnny ringo must do the scouting for RV.lol Now back to the game, IMO for South Gallia to win they are going to have to be on fire shooting threes. I got to pull for South Gallia but Belpre probably wins this one at home.

3-of-the-4 losses by Belpre have been at home ... So maybe the Rebels do have a shot ... I know it would be HUGE for South Gallia - the type of win that could propel them into the district finals maybe.

Haven't heard of any postponement yet. Snowing a little in Belpre but not sticking to roads

Eaglepaw let us know if it gets canceled. With no game for Southern, I might drive up and watch what should be a good game.
