Well, someone said Burg is down? I am pretty sure they have a good ball club this year...6'5" Andy Stegman a great ball handler and A great shooter in Nick Kemper and the list goes on. They will battle Oak Hill this year..should be a fun 2 games between the two! I think the Burg has some revenge after losing last year to Oak Hill...can't wait to watch some High School B-BALL!!!

Oak Hill last year was a big team but not all that physical for being that big. I expect to see them be better this year.
I really thought they were a little soft at the guard last year?

Getting Cannon back from his injury should be a big shot in the arm for the Oaks!

How many seniors did Oak Hill lose last year? They were a good team last year! Is it going to be the same this year?

Re: Oak Hill 08-09
is cannon back and healthy? if so that will be a big plus for the oaks. the oaks are tough every year and well coached. the soc will be tough this year and exciting to watch. can't predict who will win the soc . to early. but i predict the oaks will be right there along with minford and burg.
Re: Oak Hill 08-09
The Oaks are my pick for the SOC 2 title. They have the experience returning and a good PG to lead them. Good size down low, and good coaching from Norm.
However, hope to be wrong, but I do not see them leaving the regionals. Tuff teams to face who are much fast than a normally slower Oaks team. Sometimes size doesnt matter, and speed is the key. I say if Norm would go deeper than 8 players (and he can) you get more rest time for your starts and a better chance of beating a team that is faster.

Re: Oak Hill 08-09
There is no reason why the Oaks should have any defeats in the season. I have heard that they are pressing more and using more players off the bench. Good call on Norms part. They need to do this all season to prepare for what is to come in March. Slowing schools down like WC is what needs to be done to get anywhere.
