Word on RV basketball

Look how long football took. Do we think basketball will be any faster? I would say that the basketball team will miss all shootouts and summer league.

Don't know much about the shootouts but they are playing in the wellston league.

Ryan McCarley is running the open gyms and in charge of the summer league.

maybe the football coach mcclelland is pulling double duty and doing basketball too. perhaps thats why it took so long to get a coach for football--they were getting one guy for 2 jobs.

Hopefully you are talking about Coach J!! There are two people I would love see get this position, either Ellcessor or Jenkins. I doubt Coach J would come out of retirement though because I know that Mrs. J would go through the roof. Easy E would be a wonderful candidate for this job. Hey Chris, remember that if you were to be the head coach, you have to teach the players BLIND PIG!!!!!!! The greatest basketball play ever invented.

RV would be lucky to land a coach like Coach E. He is a great coach and a great friend. If I am not mistaken when he was part of the RV staff they made runs to the convo and likewise at GAHS. Blind Pig is a great play! It would be great to see E back in the coaching business! He also won a sectional with the Blue Angels...the man can coach!

Coach E would be a great pick for the job. He knows how to win everywhere he has been. He needs to land a head coaching position. He is very organized and would take control emmediately.

PS He needs to work on his golf game.

I would hope that little bird is a liar!!! I have nothing against him, but I sure wouldn't want him coaching my kids. He didn't do very good at Oak Hill so why would anyone think he could turn RV around??? Bad decision by whoever is making the call if this is true.

what he did at oak hill has no bearing on how he would do at rv. who knows, might be good fit, might not be... i would rather have him coaching my kids than the one some of you are giving such high praise to have seen and heard to much bout him.
why has osborne never hired him on his staff

Coach Osborne had alot to do with him getting the girls job and the jr. high jobs when he coached them back in the day. All I can say he would be a great HEAD COACH!!!He is very enthusiastic and knows the game.
