this is true nate look i know scott and your dad chris iknow how good you and your taem could be all im saying is in years past out there it was basketball every day year round and it showed on the court when those teams played thats the differance in eastern then and eastern now they lived for it kids today just play it but its not just eastern kids just have more things to do anymore and if you dont concentrait on basketball and someone else does thier skill set passes up yours

that is true.. and its not cause some kids dont want to its just kids play to many sports including myself i thought really hard about not playing basketball this year not cause i didn't want to its just cause i played really bad last year and i know i can go play collage golf or baseball somewhere and not basketball.. and im not trying to start something im just trying to stop putting negative stuff on here about us cause that doesnt help us if anything it hurts us

your rihgt thats why i was saying that the fans out there shouldt push to hard i have a son in jr high and at a game at eastern we had parents from our own school yelling at my son for running a offense his coach told him to run it took 5or 6 games for him to come out of his shell and play ball right again so trust me i know the pressure that you kids in a basketball town are under

my confidance wasnt there last year i was new to the school and didnt want to make anyone mad i went from avg 22 points a game to like 6 i was scared to do anything and that was my fault ive thought about what i could do to make my self better for next year and i need to get in shape hit the weights hard i did untill baseball and had to quit cause i pitch and it made a huge difference and im just going to go out and play for myself and not worry about what everyone else thinks and i think ill make a big improvement next year

i bet your right you have to enjoy it to play to your potential your a good player just go play and dont over think the game and what us old people think have fun and the game will be much easier to play

yeah thats true.. im excited about this season thornsberry will help us and i think more people will work this year and play as a team.. we really only got beat bad 2 games piketon and minford every other game we was in and with more experience i think we will have a really good chance to win the league

hey Nate---glad to see you defend the team and yourself---been seeing all this negative all summer on these posts and I'm tired of it too---I know alot of people who have confidence in this season and I for one am excited to see what happens.

Western does have some bragging rights due to the success over the last few years,
but lets not forget the overtime game at our place last year and that was with their best and us at our weakest. A year can make alot of difference. It should be quite interesting.

I appreciate you, Bryan, Selbee and all the other guys who participate in multiple sports to represent your school, respectfully and successfully. Keep up the good work and dedication AND SPREAD THAT DESIRE AND ATTITUDE.

Again, I hope Nate or none of the players take my posts negative. I only want them to understand that they will not "out-talent" the best teams. BUT, THEY CAN "OUTWORK" THEM AND STILL WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets get fired up Eagles and outhustle, out-rebound, out defend, and out work every opponent that we have. If we do that, we can beat anyone. If we play like we don't have to do those things, then this year will not be what it should. That is not negative, that is realistic.

I heard they open with Coal Grove(at Coal Grove) on Dec. 5th and then have Minford the next night at home. Don't have their complete sched. though.

That is a tough couple games to open with!
