This was the best jr. high game I've been to. If I didn't know better I would have thought this was a high school game. Both teams have great size and athleticism. From this I will say that Valley and Minford will be battling each other for SOC championships in the future.

Congrats and thank you to all the teams that participated. There were great turnouts by family, friends, and students to support their school team! This has been one of the better years for this tournament as far as the amount of people that attended each game and the competition between teams! I witness some impressive play by both the Girls and Boys teams.

What a semi final game in 7th grade boys! A tale of 2 halves, Clay's first half (26-6) versus Burg's identical second half. Eventually in O.T. the Pirates squeaked out a 6 point win. I think that was the real championship game! Good luck in the future Panthers, we are so proud of you!
