I watched VC at the Beasts Classic and honestly would have never guessed they could put up a 100 point game

VC only played 2 good quarters at Chesapeake. That is the inconsistency we have been talking about all season. They have talent, just need to play a complete game. Especially with the district they play in! Alot of great talent and a tough road to get to the Convo!!!

Kenny,
If you think Combs likes to eat, you should see the guy that keeps his stats.

Viked Man,
Sounds like their 7th grade coach had these boys figured out. Who coached these guys then? I wondered if Combs ever thought about getting him to help out with the varsity now, since he knows these guys so well. Wonder if their old coach would consider volunteering as an assistant coach for the varsity. This may be the jolt the Vikings would need to make a nice tourney run.

YOU ARE CORRET IN THINKING Matt as a smart basketball coach Bulldog. No doubt in my mind about his cunning about the game, I know that one can not play like that every night for 20+ games without a deep bench, but it is fun to watch. Matt Combs will be Vinton County's legend as a basketball coach someday, we need one about every other high school around here has one. I never knock how Matt coaches, but I would have liked to have seen one more Viking point in this game for a new school game scoring record. Otherwise you have to agree with the way he played the 2nd half.

GO VIKINGS; GO MATT
