SW vs Waverly updates
Re: SW vs Waverly updates
Denny Thompson, a 1970 graduate with 1,457 points, held the boys record. Jake poured in 25 first half points on his way to 38 on the night and 1,479 so far in his H.S. career. He is about 100 shy of breaking the alltime scoring record regardless of sex (Teresa Campbell 1,587).
Jake had a monster jam on a breakaway and a nice throw down coming on an alley oop from White. Another possible dunk attempt was thwarted when decked by Cook, mentioned earlier by Swanker Pine.
Goddard had a nice game for the Jeeps hitting 4 threes on his way to 17 points.
Tigers were pretty much all business tonight after the Tuesday night loss to Oak Hill.

Yeah I left about 2 minutes to go. Driving 200 miles Home isn't fun plus the JV squad for Webster was in.
I though the game would be a little closer after watching Kretz and Goddard dominate the first quarter but when he's hitting shots 30 feet deep, there's not much you can do. Holding Loop to less than points is a sign of excellent defense as well

Oh, that's the reason. I thought Pike county lost all cell service after the third quarterSwanker Pine wrote:Yeah I left about 2 minutes to go. Driving 200 miles Home isn't fun plus the JV squad for Webster was in.

manitou: if that's the case, mea culpa. In hindsight, should've realized it prolly nothing as you're not a usual suspect for smack talk on here. Again, my apologies.
scarlet: salty's not the word for it, and it wasn't even about the game! Just a fitting end to a loooooong, wrong week.*
