I don't believe anyone else in southeastern Ohio will have a tougher first 5 games.

You have to respect the fact they are going to Pickerington as well.

Dougs got A LOT of weapons this year. You might see different starters each game this year. I see for sures in adkins, strite, and pucket..then you got hale caudill burton and the 2 butlers to throw in the mix..and its kind of early i may be missing someone else..anyway the other 2 starters could change with who practices the hardest..

The only girl that ever played on Doug's AAU team is Lakin Caudill who moved to the district in 7th grade. No one else on the team ever played on Doug's AAU team and then moved to Oak Hill.

Just having fun. I could care less if Oak Hill wins a game this year. I just keep hearing Vinton County people saying how good they would be if those girls stayed in Vinton. I would worry more about getting your test scores up than people razzing you about recruiting. Your scores seem to be falling but that is a different forum. :122249

I would say this barring injuries if Coach Hale does not make it to the state semi's I would consider that a MAJOR failure with all of that talent. It should be so easy a cave man could do it!

What is your whole district rating? How many indicators did your school meet compared to Wheelersburg, Valley, South Webster, Jackson and so on. All I am saying is it seems your distict seems to be dropping year after year. Wheelersburg is the cream of the crop when it comes to education. People use to say kids came to Oak hill for a better education test results have not shown that lately.

Ok OK, let's talk girls basketball here. I do care for the Oak Hill school system and feel they fire and hire more coaches than teachers but that is for a different time.

So, let's talk basketball shall we? I feel that Coach Hale is a good coach, and we have seen that he can take a group of local girls and move them to the state like he did not so long ago. I watched those girls, they were good, but not great, because how many of them went on to even play NAIA? So Doug Hale as a coach is excellent. I do however feel that he may be pressured by the community (because a community that does not see results can become a mob) he has pulled in some outsiders. Most of which came in before HS, but from an inside source there are more girls who came from other districts than there are those who were here before Jr. High. I dont know names, just heard that? I feel that Doug should focus more on the talent at hand. I have a problem for High School recruiting. I think the community finds more joy in a team who has a history there rather than a win. So Oak Hill has to ask the question. Would we rather win with outsiders or lose with locals that tried?

LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR AGAIN! I LIVE AN HOUR AWAY AND HAD THE HONOR OF HAVING DOUG COACH MY DAUGHTER DURING SUMMER BALL. IF PARENTS WANT THEIR KIDS COACHED BY THE BEST COACH IN SOUTHEASTERN OHIO, THEN THE PARENTS WILL MOVE. KIDS WANT TO BE COACHED BY COACH HALE AND THAT IS VERY RARE MY FRIENDS. HAVING BEEN AROUNG COACH HALE FOR 4+ YEARS, THERE WAS NEVER A HINT OF ANY WRONGDOING. CLASS ACT ALL THE WAY. FORGET RUMORS AND LISTEN TO MY FACTS. IT WOULD BE INTERESTING TO HEAR WHO SPREADS THESE RUMORS. THEY ALL SEEM TO COME FROM SOUTH OF OAK HILL.

OK, RANTS OVER. let it go people.

mof, i apologize on behalf of all the posters that dont have a clue.
