nybucks05, "u know what all i was doing was making an opinion" ditto, me too!!! I was not running you down any more than you were running down the coaching staff. Yes I do believe that you HAVE BEEN a coach. With the key words being HAVE BEEN!!!!!!!!! Hind sight is 20-20 it's easy to say that you would have done things differently after the fact. Nuff said!!

yes any coach with a little class would have pulled his starters by then. butt the n.y. coach hates trimble and wanted to run up the score. Hope the kid is o.k. and the coach can look his self in the mirror this morning.

Let's talk about pulling the starters. 35-7. Trimble hits a 40 yard bomb to make it 35-13, over 10 minutes left. You just lost the momentum to your biggest rival with a recent history of fourth quarter comebacks against you. No way do I pull my starters. Not in a season that you have some very high expectations for. I leave my starters in to put together a string of plays to milk some time from the clock. Ironically that's exactly what the coach did and unfortunately a young man got hurt. Is it the coaches fault? No. You talk about NY's coach hating Trimble, I'm seeing Trimble hating NY's coach as well. That's why it's called a rivalry. Don't judge a man till you walk in his shoes.

91buckeye i agree with you. This is a new team. You cant just pull them because you are up. its the first game. things need to be ironed out. The bucks didnt play well against New Lex but they did against Philo. You need to make sure your players are on the same page. 35-13 is no reason to pull the starters. At all. No other coach around here would have done the same wether you say you would or not. Its trimble people. Think a little bit. To hear "7-6 nuff said" for a year....that makes any coach hot under the collar. Give Dave Boston a break. He's a hell of a coach and a great guy. He knows what he's doing or he wouldnt be coaching.

Talbert will be fine. He's a tough kid and I bet he's back on the field at least by the Burne Union Game.

GO BUCKS!!!

Spot on. If NY gets a defensive stop with the score still 35-7, the starters most assuredly come out. They didn't, so they didn't.

I wasn't there to see the NY/TT game for myself, but after Lancaster caught one of Logan's players asleep for a touchdown, Amyx still subbed out his players against Lancaster. The score was 35-10. Around 7 min. to go I think, I didn't know the topic would come up to take note of the time. It was somewhat early though as opposed to what I expected. Any team would be hard pressed to score 3 TD's and a FG in high school football under 7-10 minutes after being dominated like they were the first 36-44 or so min. unless NY's backups are very weak. I'm not trying to make anyone angry, just stating what happened and what I know. Again, I wasn't there to know the situation. Good luck to the Buckeyes and the Tomcats the rest of the season.

I have never posted to a forum, but some of the comments about Zach compel me to do so. Neither Zach nor his family blame anyone for his injury. Zach was on the field for one reason--HE WANTED TO BE THERE. If you want to help Zach, recognize him for the athlete he is and pray that the surgeons can put him back on the field.

Listen up slick, Coach Boston Jr. has as much class any coach you will find anywhere. Coach Phil is the same way. The seniors requested to stay in another
series. I'm sick of no class people like you(we have our share also) taking shots at a coach that sincerely cares about all students in our district not just players. You forget that this is about kids playing a kids game, not about your personal attack on someone you do not know personally.
