biggdowgg,
Is wnxt webcasting this game? It might be a couple of weeks into the schedule before I can make it home for a game.
Anytime you have a team that is this young you will go through some major ups and downs. Thank goodness they have a very good o-line and that the youngsters are talented. As we all know Portsmouth should score, but can the defense hold anybody?
Portsmouth 34
South Point 27

Thanks dowgg.
Kind of figure burg and ironton might be the choice, but I'm still hoping to hear the Trojans all the way up here in N. E. Pa.
I can't wait to actually get home to see them.

Re: WK 1 South Point @ Portsmouth
I would love to see South Point win this game or at least be competitive through out...but I think this is going to be a hard task for them. Regardless, this is a good game to schedule early on, it will only help them in their conference play.
Those who don't understand why they are counting SP out...I don't know why you are surprised. It doesn't matter how good or bad South Point is...most from Scioto County or Ironton or whoever is not going to give South Point respect because they are in they OVC. It doesn't matter how many times they could win OVC, they will always think they are better...it takes awhile to build up a reputation. But things do change and hopefully the OVC keeps getting stronger. The only way SP can keep getting better is to schedule good teams, it will make them stronger and I think they have a nice little schedule for them this year.
Goodluck to both teams...hopefully no injuries and good sportsmanship.

South Point is very well coached and has good talent. This will not be a blow out by Portsmouth. At home, look for South Point to pull it out.

Cant believe Kick off is tomorrow...Go Trojans .....Beat South Point!!!!!
It would be real nice to have a good crowd at the Kick Off Rally at BW3's this evening. They are feeding the team, @ 5:30...so come on down and support the Trojans,
