It seems like he's been hitting a lot lately. My sr. season of legion ball, Tony Adkins (Valley) hit 17 bombs. Im quite sure thats the record.

FYI - Post 23 Juniors trail Harrison 12-3 with 2 out top 6th. Pitching change with 2 on. Entered inning only down 6-3.

The Post 23 Junior team started State tournament play by winning their first game but lost their second game. They travel back to Lancaster on Friday and play at 11:00 a.m. at Beavers Field.

That team they lost to is pretty doggone good. I would say they're mostly older kids. We get them tomorrow in the winners bracket final.

Post 23 senior team lost its first game in tournament action today at Miami Trace against Chillicothe Post 757 15-14. The bats were out but we could not keep Post 757 off base. Post 23 will return to Miami Trace tomorrow for a 4 p.m. game against Hillsboro. Good luck to the boys in blue.

Tigercat, I am not usre if a bracket is online or not. To tell you the truth, I havent tried looking. It would be American Legion District 7.
Today, Post 23 beat Waverly instead of Hillsboro 13-0 behind an outstanding pitching performance from Adam 'Peanut' Wamsley. Peanut had 19 K's in the 7 inning game. The boys in blue continue to hit the ball well.
Post 23 will be back in action at the VA tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. against the loser of the Washington Courthouse vs Circleville game. Listed below is the rest of the bracket:
Sunday At Chillicothe VA:
Game 9 11 a.m.
Game 10 3 p.m.
Game 11 7 p.m. Winners bracket
Monday:
Game 12 10 a.m. (I'd say the Paints are playing at night)
Tuesday:
Game 13 10 a.m.
Wednesday:
Game 14 10 a.m. to go to the state
Thursday:
Game 15 10 a.m. IF NEEDED

Thank you alabama mike and Tobias. I was hoping to catch Waverly Post 142 one more time, but it sounds like they are done since they lost to Post 62 and Post 23.

Another Good day for Portsmouth Post 23 Boys in Blue
beat Circleville today 13 to 10 in 9 innings. Shawn Cook started the game with Adam " PEANUT " Wamsley coming in to seal the deal. The boys play Tomorrow at 10am in the morrowing. Good Luck an KEEP IT ROLL'N

The boys in BLUE keep roll'n. 1 step closer to the championship game of the district with a win over Chillicothe Post 757 with final score of 15-6. Justin Montgomery got the start an went 6 strong innings. Kinda struggled just abit in the 1st inning an gave up 2 runs, then got back in sink an let the "D" do its job! Alex Coakley came in an sealed the deal on the mound. The bats was VERY STRONG, John Harsha, Aaron Oesh, Randy Ratcliff an Brian White all took the ball off the top of the wall. Keep the batts an the " D " ROLL'N today.
The Boys play Washington Court House Post 25 this morning @ 10am at the Va for a right to play Chillicothe Post 62 in the finals. When I get updates from the game I will post them.
