Thursday,Friday and Saturday I will be going to high school football games as well as working and trying to get things put in their place from my recent move.

Football friday night at Wheelersburg
Saturday I'll be golfing for a cause....


This scrammble is to aid in the expenses of Ironton Saint Joseph's AD and Baseball Coach Greg Bryant.



Date: August 23rd, shotgun start at 9am, rain or shine.

Location: Riverbend (previously Little Scioto) Golf Course located on the backside of Wheelersburg near the old Southern Ohio Raceway. Address is 1245A Tick Ridge Road, Wheelersburg Ohio. Phone number: 740-776-9976.

Directions: Will give directions as needed upon registration.

Cost: $200 per team, 4 man scramble ($50 per man). Cost includes green fees and cart, food, beverages, door prizes, skill prizes and there will be a $20 per team skins game on the side, all players on the team must enter if they wish to participate in the skins game. This will be an 18 hole tournament.

There will be a $400 first place prize as well as a $200 second place prize based on a 20 team field.

This will be limited to the first 20 teams. Any businesses that wish to sponser a hole can do so for a $50 sponsorship fee. Signs will be made to show the sponsor's contribution on the hole they are sponsoring.

For registration, and for sponsorship, please call 740-532-5274 between 8-4:30pm Monday through Friday, or call 740-935-5696 all other times. Leave a message if needed and we will return your call.

All proceeds will go to assist Greg Bryant's medical bills as he completes his treatment for lymphoma.

probably leaving town until about 10 Friday night so I don't have to hear my dog bark the whole time the ballgame is going on... he doesn't understand why he hears people talking bands playing and cannons sounding :roll: and I need the peace and quiet

Last weekend started on Thursday for me. On this day I ventured to Daytton for a fooball game and then on Friday it was off to Centerburg to watch Newark Catholic play. Sat and Sun found me in Cincy at Paul Brown Stadium watching some high school football.

Saturday, my family will all be going to Kings Island for GE Day. My Stepdaughter Liza works there, and we all get together for that day of fun!

Fighting Tigers game tonite after dinner with some Blue Devil fans at the Knights of Columbus, Buckeye football Saturday and the wife's class reunion on Sunday at beautiful and scenic Lawco Lake......

Tonight a yet to be determine football game.
Saturday work and if possible two football games and then Sunday will see me work and watch some NFL games.

Friday Work and a football game-Granville at Licking Valley
Satuday Football game in Bellaire and then back to Newark to watch the Newark Catholic game. Sunday work.
