Will the Blue Angels have any competition this year?

Not from the teams in the south division. There will be some good teams in the North. Gallia will get to play for it all on one day again where anything can happen, good odds.

I believe Chillicothe will have a pretty decent team this year. They started three sopohmores and 2 juniors last year. They will compete with Gallia.

I, too, see Gallia winning the South Div. & agree with fighting falcon that they will be playing for it all on the DOC.

Today's scrimmage: Meigs won 4 games..Gallia won 3 games. I believe Meigs won 4 out of 5 in the JV scrimmage.

Meigs played good. I know Coach Shriver played alot of girls. I know GAHS still have not made their final cuts. Coach Shriver has alot of talented girls and you can bet the best will be playing Varsity. GOODLUCK BLUE ANGELS!

Who seemed to be the key players for both Gallia and Meigs?

I believe all of the Angels are going to be key players. This team seems to have alot of talent. I know from Meigs that Katie Wolfe will be a key player.

I heard Courtney Shriver is out due to an injury and Maddie Swisher is having issues as well. They only cut 1 girl that I know of.

What happened to Courtney? She is a tremendous athlete. I hope she is not out for long.

Yikes! :122246 Saw where Logan took Gallia Academy to 5 games last night...last game being 15-13! Sounds like a heckuva game. Anyone have the details?

Gallipolis wins-first two---
Logan win next two
Logan lead 13 to 12 in the 5th before Gallipolis pulled it out 15 to 13

Courtney Shriver is out for the season. She tore her ACL and Manisic (?spelling). She is hoping to be ready for softball. Should be having surgery soon.
