the party starts at 11:00am. that is the target time to fire up the grills. you need to bring, whether you are single or coming as a family. enough food, drinks, and ice for how ever many are coming. you need to bring enough lawn chairs for your crew. we will have grills going. if you want something grilled there will be people grilling , or you are more than welcome to grill your own. we will have charcoal smokers, as well as gas grills. i am providing 2 very clean, johnnie on the spots, 2 first place trophies for the cornhole champions, and 2 trophies for the cornhole contest runners up. as well as tee shirts for the winners and runners up. i won't have the tee shirts on hand. as i don't know who will win, what size or if you'd like them in your school colors. just leave me your address, and we can send the shirts to you. they will be made at bob linn's sporting goods in ironton, ohio. again my name and number i will provide, if you need instructions, or directions here. we live right on state route 141. it's so easy tigertownturkey could find it. .

if it's possible we need any cornhole sets, horseshoe sets, folding tables and grills we can get. the cornhole tourney will be 5. bucks per person, winners will take home 60%, runners up 40%, as well as tee shirts and trophies. if you've never been to one of our OBDTF LUNCHES. we have a blast. if you ewver wanted to attend an event where you can meet many of your friends you've never met. this would be a great opportunity. even if you live 2/3 hours from here, it's an all day event. bring your camera, as there are plenty of birding and humminbird opps out here. as i have probably one of the largest collections of bird houses and feeders around. also plenty of squirrels, rabbit's and chipmunks are regular visitors. i doubt we'll see deer here, with a big crowd. but if you do take a picture from the distance and don't try to feed them, because they are here. if you have any questions , or need directions, my name is tom osborne , and my number is 740-532-0097. or pm me between now and friday night. Okay here my my list. Folding tables, cornhole set, meat for the grill, and a side dish of something other than cabbage rolls. Drinks, not drunks, and paperplates and plastic silverware. Do you need napkins? I have a lot of patriotic ones still wrapped up left over from a relay event. Let me know.

I have a card table size folding table and several folding chairs [at least 4]. I have a good sized solid-sided wheeled cooler which I will fill with 3 or 4 unopened bags of ice which could serve as a DRINK container. I'll also bring a 3 gal cylindrical cooler with a bottom dispenser spout filled with lightly sweetened iced tea.
The one grill I have which would fit in my car is too small and too short-legged to be practical for a large gathering - but I'll bring it and/or a bag of charcoal if you want? - or are all the other grills the gas variety? I'll also bring my grill tools - spatula, tongs, fork. Could you use additional condiments - ketchup, mustard, pickles, barbecue sauce, S&P for shared general use?
I have a "picnic bag" that just stays packed with all the non-food essentials; and since I was just on a picnic last weekend, it has all been recently washed and re-packed. But trust me - I have no sports equipment at all to bring!
I will be bringing a crockpot full of chicken and noodles, and a fruit platter and dip; and I had also planned on deviled eggs til I heard those 90+ degree temperatures predicted - maybe I'll think of something else to bring that doesn't contain mayonnaise! I'd hate to be accused of causing food poisoning!

This is obviously going to be a 2 meal event - both lunch and supper. If you're staying all day on Saturday, Aug. 2, bring enough to feed yourself twice - I have a feeling there will be a "start-all-over-again" point late-afternoon or early-evening. Or maybe just a rolling "graze all day" kind of thing. Sounds great!
Whatever you bring, don't scrimp on the liquids - it's going to be HOT - bring plenty to drink! YTB already has a plan for where to put "drunks"!

I have a dry waller coming saturday so it wil be afternoon if I make it, depends on how soon he gets done.

man, organizing an event like this wears an old fat boy out. especially one who's yard has been trampled by backhoes, and concrete trucks, and trying to fill all the tracks in between. it ain't done, but it's getting there. this ain't trick my trailer. it is what it is. but i promise you a good time. wish i could just pay for it all.
