Aw, I hate that I missed this one. Just couldn't help it. The Bagboy left to report to camp this am and yesterday was spent doing last minute things like laundry, etc. to get him ready to get up there early today. We had a wedding on top of it, so it was out of the question for me to get out there.

YTB keeps saying that he got the last sliver of pie. Do you see anyone else eating at that table? Do you see all the empty containers around him? The only thing that I see there, is a small amount of potato salad and some cupcakes left. And about 10 minutes later when I went for a cupcake, they were gone. Looks suspicious to me.

I had full intentions of making it,
but had to replace the muffler on my car.

It fell off on the way down from Dublin to Jackson.

Thankfully my father-in-law gave me a hand, but it took longer than
either of us expected.

Yep, it looks as if I missed a good one! At around 4:00 my son Avery came in and I told him that If it hadn't been so late we would have come on in. He said that he would come to the next one with me! Anyway, glad you all had a good time!

I hate that I missed it too, but I had to work all weekend and couldn't make arrangements to get off. Hopefully I can make the next one if another one is ever planned.

there will for sure be another one here, next summer, but probably earlier next summer. i had to compete this weekend with so much that i had no idea what was going on, when i planned it. but it went fantastic otherwise. i never realized so many people had never even seen like an american goldfinch. we must just take it for granted , becuase sometimes there are hundreds here. but they are flock feeders. and i lived in town 20 years. just been out here nearly 28 now. apparently people saw plenty of hummingbirds , because alot of people commented on seeing them a lot out back. i've got a lot of pictures mysel;f i'd like to get on here. ozzie and gma1 , are going to help me with this. i sure missed all of you, who have called me, or pmmed me. but i have every intention , of doing it yearly. we literally have room here for hundreds. next year, my goal is to top 100 people here at 1 time. which i think we'd have easily done if i knew more about all that was going on locally, when i planned this.

Sorry, I have been in and out today so it is hard to keep up with everything on here. I don't know if I sent trophy pictures to Ozzy or to you. I would put them on here but I don't know how either. I will send the trophy pictures to Ozzy. I just got your message and it is too late to call and I have a dr. appointment in Chillicothe tomorrow. Hopefully I will see you on Tuesday or Wednesday to get my tables back.
