I think Fort Frye's defense would be to slow up and potentially stop Marietta's offense. I think Fort Frye could have beaten them this year and last if they were on the schedule.

I think the Cadets would match up well. Lewis has been playing well playing more of a DB spot last few weeks when teams spread it out. Brady Carpenter is a monster at LB one of the fastest players in the county. Tate and Lochary have been really good on the outside. The Dline of Kehl , Matheny , Baker , Jones , Pritchard , and Mccleod has been very good because he has been rotating and keeping them fresh.

Something I have noticed about these late season games is that the weaker teams have fixed some of their weaknesses and play better than you would expect.

If Marietta and Fort Frye would play I believe it would come down to had the ball last. Lewis would probably have a record day against the Tigers defense because they are unable to stop the run. Just look at the stats St. Marys and Cambridge put on them. On the other hand Marietta's offense is legit this year (44 pts a game). Vanfossen is a real solid running back, Dawson throws a great ball and Danford & Moore make big plays on the outside. 38-34 might be to low of a prediction, I would say more like 48-42. It would be like watching a Big XII shootout

Don't think you're giving the Fort Frye defense enough credit only allowing 8 Ppg this season. Like I said it come down to turnovers just think Cadets would get more stops .The Tigers have played the way better schedule and that could help. I see Cadets being very similar to Williamstown and St Marys so I think it be a great game.

Both schools missing out on huge gates by not playing this game. I believe if the 2 played in Etta the Cadet faithful would fill this town.

Caldwell came out with a new formation and Shuster did a great job lead blocking but the Cadets wore them down. The Fort has been pretty this with halftime adjustments. Not sure how many 3rd downs the Cadets even had. This offense was firing on all cylinders.
