My Son Said as the team was leaving, one of the East Coaches struck a ref, surley they didnt blame the ref for a loss like that?


at any rate, thats not a good situation around kids.

I didn't see it, but that don't mean it didn't happen. I sure hope things didn't get that bad.

It was not a coach I believe it was a parent of one of the kids. I was told later in the day that it was believed a ref said something to the guys kid and that is what caused it. Either way out of line and should not have happened, and is not a good example for the kids.

Now as for the game Symmes Valley just flat out ran the ball down East's throat in the first half. The second half the East defens improved but Symmes Valley's defense just kept attacking and East couldn't get an offense rolling and when they did Symmes Valley stopped it fast or a flag was thrown to stop the momentum for false start or off sides on offense.

The season is young, hopefully the Tartans can improve and win some games.
